Phoenix Modern Group Guitar Lessons

What We Will Learn:

     Students will learn the fundamental basics of music theory, proper technique for guitar, guitar maintenance, and solo and ensemble material.

Why:

      Private one hour lessons on average cost $50/hr. Group lessons greatly reduce cost and also fosters a musical community often missing in private instruction. Learning an instrument helps reduce stress, boost brain power, increases self-discipline, and nurtures self expression. 

When:

  Tuesdays, October 15th-December 17th, 3:30-4:30

Tuition & Fees:

  $100 for 10 1 hr lessons (20% of tuition is donated back to Phoenix Modern)

    $10 materials fee

    $50 guitar deposit

              -Includes 3/4 size acoustic guitar and soft carrying case.

              -Deposit is refundable upon completion of the course. Deposit may also be applied to purchase. Students may provide their own instrument. 

PAYMENT:

Payment must be received no later than Monday October 14th to be enrolled.

TERMS: 

-Enrollment fees are for the 10 week session, not per lesson. If the child is absent tuition for that attendance will not be refunded. 

-In the event a teacher cancels refunds will be distributed at the end of the 10 week session. 

-Students are required to have an instrument and lesson material at all meetings. BCM cannot guarantee a spare instrument will be available day-of. 

- Parents will need to park and enter to pick up students not enrolled in aftercare promptly at 4:30.  

If you are renting an instrument: 

-Your instrument is your temporary property for the duration of the 10 week session.

-Maintenance and care instructions will be provided at the first lesson. 

-The instrument will be returned at either the final lesson or after performance. Deposits for the instrument will be refunded within 5 business days following. 

-The instrument may be purchased. The deposit will apply to the total owed.

-In the event an instrument is lost or damaged the deposit will not be refunded.
