“Ms. River is a dynamic and accomplished music teacher, with a captivating blend of expertise in singing, piano, composition, and musical theater. With 8 years of experience teaching singing and a lifelong journey in musicals since the tender age of 5, Ms. River brings a wealth of performance knowledge and a passion for nurturing voices and piano skills to every lesson. As a featured instructor at the Los Angeles A cappella Festival, Ms. River has honed her ability to inspire and guide students to reach their full potential. Additionally, her experience composing music for show choirs and a cappella groups at high schools across Southern California showcases her versatile skills and deep understanding of music theory. Ms. River guarantees a transformative experience for her piano and voice students on their journey to establishing a strong and exciting musical foundation!”

When asked what she enjoys about teaching, Ms. River responded, “I love not only watching and hearing the hard work the students and I have put into the craft come to flourish, but the most satisfaction I get from teaching is knowing and seeing a student having fun and feeling proud in the improvements and performance they’ve made. Even when it’s simply a small improvement in their voice/playing that day during our lesson, it’s exciting and significant enough to remind me why I’ve chosen this work. The student’s contentment and enjoyment is key”
